The Rolex DateJust 1601 is an iconic vintage watch, produced from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. One of the most distinctive details of 1601 is the dial, which has a slight slope on the outer edge. This creates a beautiful depth effect. The 1601 is also known for its fluted bezel, which is always made of 18K gold. Unlike contemporary models with sapphire glass, the 1601 has a convex plexiglass. The watch case measures 36mm. The watch is powered by the reliable automatic caliber 1570.

Dating back to 1970, this watch features a beautiful "linen dial" - a dial with a special texture that resembles a woven fabric. The texture makes the watch look different each time from different angles, adding to its vintage charm.
