The Aviator 8 is inspired by Breitling's 'Huit Aviation Department', founded in the 1930s to manufacture aircraft instruments. With a diameter of 41 mm, it is a substantial watch. The satin finish on the case gives it a rugged, military look. The dial features large Arabic numerals and a clear 'railway' minute track. The date display is located at the 6 o'clock position. The watch has a bidirectional bezel and is powered by an automatic movement. It comes on a rugged pilot's bracelet.
