Cartier launched its most famous model, the Tank, in 1917. In the years that followed, Cartier introduced many more versions of the Tank. One of these was the Cartier Tank Obus.
Unlike the regular Cartier Tank, which has a rectangular case, the Tank Obus has a square case. The case is made in 18K yellow gold and measures 24mm in diameter. Very striking are the unique lugs, which are very reminiscent of bullets. Like most gold Cartier Tank models, the watch has a white dial with black painted Roman numerals and beautiful blue steel Breguet hands. The watch operates on a quartz movement and comes on a new black generic leather strap.
