Ref. 310.30.40.50.06.001 pays tribute to the legendary Omega worn by astronaut Walter Schirra in 1962*. This model differs from the standard 'Moonwatch' in its vintage look and more compact size (39.7 mm). The beautiful dark gray dial features the iconic 'Alpha' hands and a white 'baton' seconds hand. The dial is surrounded by a black aluminum bezel ring and protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal in the shape of the classic Hesalite. The watch is powered by a highly accurate manual-winding caliber 3861 movement. It comes on a stainless steel 'Flat Link' bracelet with a comfort clasp.

*Fun fact: although the Speedmaster is famous for the moon landing, this specific design (the CK 2998) was the very first Omega watch ever to go into space (on October 3, 1962).
