Patek Philippe launched the Calatrava 3919 in 1985. This Calatrava has a modest case of 33.5 mm, which is only 6.5 mm thick! The case is made of 18K yellow gold (there are also variations with rose and white gold). The two rows of mini pyramid accents on the bezel add a distinctive design accent to an otherwise understated dresswatch. This bezel is also referred to as the "Clou de Paris" bezel. The white porcelain dial has black Roman hour markers and a small second. The cal. 215 movement is hand-winding. The watch has straight lugs that attach the leather strap to the case.
