Unlike the round, classic cases of the regular DateJust, the 17013 has a very distinctive appearance. The case is 36 mm, but appears larger due to its angular shapes and sharp lines. The strap flows smoothly into the case without traditional lugs. The 17013 is the Rolesor version, which means that the watch is made from a combination of stainless steel and 18-carat yellow gold. At the heart of the 17013 is the Rolex caliber 5035 quartz movement. A characteristic feature of the Oysterquartz is the loud, mechanical 'tick' that can be heard every second! Relatively few OysterQuartz watches were produced, making the 17013 quite rare on the vintage market.

This watch dates from 1982 and comes with the original Rolex papers.
