The Rolex DateJust 1601 is an iconic vintage watch, produced from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. One of the most distinctive details of 1601 is the dial, which has a slight slope on the outer edge. This creates a beautiful depth effect. The 1601 is also known for its fluted bezel, which is always made of 18K gold. Unlike contemporary models with sapphire glass, the 1601 has a convex plexiglass. This adds to the vintage charm of the watch. The watch case measures 36mm. The watch is powered by the reliable automatic caliber 1570.

The watch we offer here dates from 1971 and has a beautiful blue "service dial.
