The Rolex DateJust 1601 is one of the most iconic vintage watches. It is known for its classic proportions—the case diameter is 36 mm. The case is made of stainless steel and the bezel of 18k white gold. What makes this watch special is the dial. Instead of a smooth finish, the dial features a finely woven pattern that closely resembles the texture of linen fabric. This creates a beautiful depth. This depth and vintage look are further enhanced by the “Pie-Pan” dial (the edge of the dial slopes downward, a specific characteristic of vintage Rolex watches). It comes on a vintage stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with a folded link.
