This particular 1601 dates from 1972 and features the 'non-quick set' caliber 1570. Executed with the iconic silver sunburst 'pie-pan' dial*, 18K white gold serrated bezel, plexi glass & combined with a stainless steel Jubilee strap with a folding link, it is a true vintage classic!

*This Datejust does not have an ordinary "pie-pan" dial. With vintage watches, small details are very important. At the marks next to the "T-siwss-T" are two small Greek letters, Sigma. The Sigma symbols were trademarked from the 1970s and proof that the hands and indexes on a watch were made of solid gold. A nice little plus...
