This men's Rolex 16263 is more than just a traditional DateJust watch. Also called the "Thunderbird" or "Turn-o-Graph," it is an important piece of Rolex watch history. The Thunderbird, released in the 1950s, was the first Rolex to offer a rotating timing ring. It was also the first Rolex sports watch with a two-tone finish. The DateJust's iconic Cyclops date is displayed on the 3-hour markers. The dial features yellow gold Roman index hour markers and Tritium lume spots. A sapphire crystal and screw-down crown protect the dial and cal. 3135 automatic movement for years of reliable readings. A 36 mm Oyster case, 18K bidirectional rotating bezel and a Jubilee strap in steel/gold with a classic folding clasp provide excellent wearing pleasure & a cool look.
