This Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 dates from 1972. It is a beautiful vintage model with a domed plexiglass crystal and a Rolex Caliber 1556 automatic movement (without a quickset date function). The 18k yellow gold case measures 36 mm. The watch features a distinctive “pie-pan” dial in a light beige color. Depending on the light and the angle from which you view the watch, the white printed text blends into the background. This gives the watch a subtle, “ghostly” appearance (also known as a “ghost dial”). Comes with a new leather strap.
