This Rolex Explorer ref. 224270 (2023) is a sought-after model in the Rolex collection, featuring a new generation caliber 3230 automatic movement and a 40 mm case. When this famous tool watch for mountaineers came on the market in the 1950s, it had a 36 mm case. Rolex upgraded it for the modern collector in 2010, replacing the 36 mm case with a 39 mm case.
