A very rare Rolex Milgauss reference 1019 with black dial. The stainless steel 38 mm case with smooth bezel gives this watch an elegant and modern look, even though the one we are offering was produced in ca. 1979. The case is in very good condition. The watch has been lightly polished in the past. The proportions are correct, the edges are beautiful and the matte finish is very good. With the 1019 Milgauss, it is very important that the cover is original and especially that the brass case cover, which protects the watch from magnetism, is present. It is here. The black Milgauss dial is the real eye-catcher. The cool Tritium cigarette hands are in great condition with a fine patina. The seconds hand with a red arrowhead perfectly matches the red Milgauss text. The watch works on automatic movement cal. 1580 and comes with the original stainless steel 78360 Oyster strap. The strap is in good condition, has virtually no stretch and minimal signs of wear.*

This is a very rare vintage Rolex from one of the brand's most special lines. The Milgauss was conceived for those in the scientific field and could withstand magnetic fields up to a thousand gauss. The 1019 was introduced in the 1960s as the successor to the extremely rare Milgauss models 6541 and 6543.
