The Rolex Submariner 14060 is often considered the "last of the classic Submariners." The watch features the iconic 40mm Oyster case, made of Oystersteel. The distinctive feature of this model is the absence of a date window and the corresponding Cyclops lens, which makes for a very symmetrical dial. The watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminum inlay and a 60-minute diving scale. The 14060 is equipped with the Rolex Caliber 3000 automatic movement. The dial is glossy black with white gold hour markers with Tritium. This reference was one of the first Submariners to come standard with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch comes with a robust Rolex Oyster strap. This model still has the "lug holes" in the side of the case.
