This Rolex Submariner ref. 16610 is the ultimate luxury dive watch. When the watch hit the market in the late 1980s, it offered many of the modern aesthetics we have come to know over the years, including a safer unidirectional diver's bezel, shimmering white gold hour markers filled with lume, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-down Triplock crown with a water resistance to 300 meters. One of the first modern Subs, the ref. 16610 was hugely successful and remained in production until the 2010s, when ref. 116610 with the ceramic bezel entered the market. The specimen you see here dates from 1996. It has a Tritium dial, a date display at 3 o'clock and the famous mechanical movement caliber 3135 with automatic winding and a Quickset date.

This watch comes with a deluxe box from our store and the original warranty certificate from Rolex (purchased new in 1997).
