De 16622 staat bekend om zijn unieke Rolesium-constructie. Dit is een gepatenteerde combinatie van Rolex waarbij de kast en band van roestvrij staal zijn, terwijl de bezel en de wijzerplaat zijn vervaardigd uit massief patina. De kast meet 40mm. Dit model wordt aangedreven door het Rolex caliber 3135 automatisch uurwerk.

Dit horloge dateert uit 2003 en wordt geleverd met de doos en het originele garantiecertificaat van Rolex.
