This specific model (ref. 3001) is the “bi-color” version of the Ballon Bleu “Large Model” (42 mm). The Ballon Bleu is recognizable by its round, domed shape. Its most unique detail is the blue sapphire cabochon, which is “captured” within a metal arch. This creates a distinctive indentation in the dial at the 3 o’clock position (which also features a date window). The silver guilloché dial features large Roman hour markers and blued steel sword-shaped hands. The watch is powered by an automatic movement. It comes on a steel/gold link bracelet.
