Ref. 16710 is de laatste generatie van de GMT-Master II met een slanke kast en aluminium bezel, voordat Rolex overstapte op de dikkere ‘Super Case’ en glanzend keramiek. Wat deze referentie zo populair maakt, is zijn veelzijdigheid. Rolex bracht hem namelijk uit met drie verschillende bezels. Dit exemplaar is voorzien van de iconische blauw-rode (‘Pepsi’) bezel. De kast heeft de klassieke proporties en meet 40mm. Het is gemaakt van Oystersteel. Het horloge wordt aangedreven door Rolex kaliber 3185 automatisch uurwerk met GMT-functie (de uurwijzer kan onafhankelijk per uur worden versteld). Geleverd op de sportieve Oyster-band.
